To provide a device for removing marine organisms which is characterized in that the marine organisms are mechanically removed and automatically removed by utilizing force of the flowing water of a water inlet channel, that is, which can simply and efficiently remove the marine organisms such as shellfishes and alga adhering to a side wall of the water inlet channel of a power plant or a factory or the like using a large quantity of fresh water or seawater or the like for a cooling water system.
The device is for removing the marine organisms such as the shellfishes and the alga adhering to the channel with the water flow and the device for removing the marine organisms is characterized by being composed of a floating body being afloat underwater in the channel or in the sea, a rotary body which is arranged around the floating body and rotated by the water flow, and a contact roller which is arranged on the tip of the rotary body and removes the marine organisms such as the shellfishes and the alga by coming into contact with the side wall of the channel.
