PURPOSE: To easily flow out or plug remaining iron in a molten iron trough at need by enabling opening/plugging of a discharging hole for the remaining iron arranged at constituting wall in the molten iron trough with a plugging body, arranging electrical heating means near this and enabling melting of the solidified remaining iron in inner part thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A tuyere nozzle 10 composed of carbon-containing refractory is arranged at the constituting wall 6 in the molten iron trough 2 to constitute the discharging hole 8 for the remaining iron. This tuyere nozzle 10 is arranged as projecting to outer part of the above constituting wall 6, and the remaining iron after tapping the molten iron is discharged into the remaining iron flow-out trough 9 to execute check and maintenance of the molten iron trough 2. At outer circumferential part of the projecting part in the above tuyere nozzle 10, the electrical heating means 17 and cooling means 18 are arranged and also at tip part of the discharging hole 8 for remaining iron, the plugging body 11 constituted with a stopper member composed of a plugging body 12 and holding bar 13 is arranged as fittable/detachable. At the time of tapping the molten iron, the tuyere nozzle 10 is plugged with the plugging body 11 and also the molten iron in the inner part is cooled and solidified to execute stable plug. At the time of discharging the remaining iron, the solidified material in the tuyere nozzle 10 is heated and melted to open the discharging hole 8 for remaining iron.
