PURPOSE: To pleasantly view an image by simultaneously outputting optional information accompanied with the image inputted by an input means to an image display device in the case of outputting an image signal to the image display device.

CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with the input means 140 for inputting the optional information accompanied with the read image on a photographic paper 8 from the external and an information output means for simultaneously outputting the information inputted by the input means 140 to the image display device 20 in the case of outputting the image signal to the device 20 by a signal output means. By inputting character information such as a comment and a title and image information such as illustration which should be displayed on the device 20 by the input means 140 as necessary, the image on the photographic paper is more pleasantly viewed on the image display device 20.
