Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for restraining and controlling fuel supply of a carburetor with excellent responsivity, which can avoid delay of fuel supply at the time of re-acceleration after deceleration.
SOLUTION: This device for restraining and controlling fuel supply of a carburetor comprises a bypass air passage 21, which has an inlet opening upstream of a main air passage and a supply opening downstream thereof to a throttle valve 18; a control valve 23, which is intervened in the middle of the bypass air passage 21 for opening and closing the passage; a throttle sensor 43 for detecting a valve travel of the throttle valve 18 and outputting valve travel detection signals; a vehicle speed sensor 45 for detecting a running speed of a vehicle and outputting speed detection signals; and a control means 30 for drive-controlling the control valve 23 based on the detection signals of both the throttle sensor 43 and the vehicle speed sensor 45. The control means 30 controls the control valve 23 to be opened when judging the vehicle as driving from the speed detection signals of the vehicle speed sensor 45, and judging the valve travel of the throttle valve 18 as small including complete closing from the valve travel detection signals of the throttle sensor 43.
