To run an unmanned conveying vehicle at a ceiling or the like without once stopping the vehicle at a branching/joining part of a running path by arranging a turn table having a plurality of running rails in the branching/ joining part of a fixed running rail, and connecting the fixed running rail selectively to one of a plurality of the running rails.
Fixed running rails 1, 2 are provided at a ceiling or the like, a turn table 31 is provided in a branching/joining device 3 thereof, and linear/ curved running rails 32, 33 and a turn drive mechanism 34 driving the turn table 31 are provided in the turn table 31. The turn table 31 is turned at a prescribed angle by forwardly/reversely rotating a motor through a driving sprocket wheel 37, driven sprocket wheel 38, and a chain 39. Here, the fixed running rails 1, 1 are connected with the linear running rail 32, or the orthogonal fixed running rails 1, 2 are connected with the curved running rail, or the opposed fixed running rails 2, 2 are connected with the curved running rail 33.
