PURPOSE: To provide a running device on soft ground which does not use an earthing body for running, such as wheels and a crawler, and runs without damaging a ground, such as splashing of water and production of an uneven surface.
CONSTITUTION: First and second machine bodies 1a and 1b each having a blower 4 to feed pressure air to each machine body to exert a machine body levitating force thereon are intercoupled through a parting approaching means. The parting and approaching means comprises a longitudinal moving means comprising a longitudinal screw shaft 18 located such that it points in the longitudinal direction of the machine body and is driven and rotated such that it is rotated forward and reverse, and a longitudinal driven member 19 interlocked and coupled to the other and the machine body side and engaged externally of a longitudinal screw shaft 18, a bending link 24 interlocking the other of the longitudinal driven member 19 and the other machine body side, and a second electric motor to vary the bending angle of the bending link 24 through driving.
