Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for scanning the external surface of a cylinder which can carry out a plurality of processings at the same time or the occupied area of which can be reduced.
SOLUTION: A storage/transport mechanism 2 ejects an unexposed plate stored in a lower tray 22 by rotation of a transport roller 25. A driving mechanism 3 moves the storage/transport mechanism 2 up and down between an upper and a lower positions. A punch unit 4 is arranged facing to the storage/ transport mechanism that stops at the upper position, in this case, a punched hole or a notch is formed by blanking the plate P which is fed on a first supply path line by a punch held inside. In addition, a recording drum 5 is arranged oppositely to the storage/transport mechanism that stops at the lower position and in this case, the plate P which is fed on a second feeding path line is mounted on the external surface of the recording drum. An exposure head 6 scans light beams in the circumferential and the axial directions of the recording drum 5 and scans the plate P mounted on the external surface of the recording drum.
