Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a cable from slipping off from a pulley, by pressing the cable into contact with the pulley using an elastic member attached to the moving body of the original scanner of a copying machine using the cable and the pulley.
CONSTITUTION: An elastic member 1 made of sponge, rubber, or the like is attached to the underside of an original platen 4. Slipping off of a cable is prevented by pressing the cable 3 into contact with the pulley 2 using this member 1.
