Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary coelom sealing device preventing the leakage of rectal waste from the anus due to the laxation of the sphincter caused by death so as to simplify the operation done by a person in charge of this work or a nursing person, while preventing the person and people around from being infected due to the leakage of internal substances.
SOLUTION: A swelling sealing member 2 comprising a porous fiber body which rapidly absorbs water upon contacting with body fluid in a body cavity is inserted into the body cavity such as the anus as the swelling sealing member 2 is filled in a cylindrical member 3. The swelling sealing member 2 is pushed out from the cylindrical member 3 by a rod member 10 and remained in the rectum, rapidly absorbs water, swells up to be tightly in contact with the rectum inner wall, and further inflates the rectum to close the passage of the rectum.
