To improve recovering efficiency of combustible material contained in pyrolyzed gas by using cyclone, and to prevent clogging of a discharge opening of the cyclone with residual sediment of thermal decomposition with simple structure.
In a separating device 3 having a screw feeder 25 in a bottom part of a casing 21 and a gas take-out opening 27 in an upper part of the casing 2, the cyclone 23 is provided in the casing 21, and a gas inlet 3 of the cyclone 23 is opened inside the casing 21, and a gas outlet tube 32 of the cyclone 23 is connected to a gas take-out opening 27, and a discharge opening 35 for residual sediment of thermal decomposition of the cyclone 23 is arranged with a space from the bottom of the casing 21. With this structure, the whole of the cyclone 23 can be substantially insulated to keep temperature and to prevent condensation of tar and moisture, and clogging of the cyclone 23 can be avoided. Especially, since the discharge opening 35 of the cyclone is arranged inside the casing 21, clogging in the discharge unit can be surely avoided.
