Abstract:
To provide a broadcasting channel by regions setting device capable of reducing trouble needed in a channel setting operation and improving the operability of a user.
This device compares a region code corresponding to a channel pattern composed of a receivable channel with a region code corresponding to a broadcasting station code included in broadcasting waves of data broadcasting or teletext broadcasting and sets a channel on the basis of broadcasting channel by regions data corresponding to a coinciding region code in a broadcasting channel receiving region.
