The device for setting the divergence and/or convergence of a light beam (1), particularly in a scanning microscope, includes at least one optical component (2) that sets the divergence and/or convergence of the light beam (1), and includes a positioning device (3) for the component (2). The positioning device (3)includes at least one piezoelectric element (4).
