Abstract:
To allow an operator to accurately and easily distinguish whether a character frame is within a printable range or not.
A character frame setting dialog box DB 2 for disposing the character frame in an image for print is provided with a display column FD12 of a "print guarantee area" and a display column FD13 of the "character frame". In the display column FD12 of the "print guarantee area", a printable area PRA is displayed in pixel units in a format of (upper left coordinates)-(lower right coordinates). In the display column FD13 of the "character frame", a character frame area occupied by the character frame is displayed in pixel units in a format of (upper left coordinates)-(lower right coordinates).
