PURPOSE: To aim at the prevention of danger such as inflammation and the like due to use of chemicals including thinner, etc., by shaving off the colored face of a card, turning it to a white face, and absorbing shavings by air with a suction device.

CONSTITUTION: A cutter 4 is set on a coloring part 3 of the colored face of a card 1, and this coloring part 3 is shaved off with a cutting edge 5, turning it to a white face. And, shavings 8 to be produced at the time of operation are absorbed by air toward an arrow 7 with a suction device 6, so that these shavings are not left behind on the card 1. Then, a sensitized solution 10 is applied onto a white face 9 of the white-colored card 1, whereby it is made so as to be photographable and to be colorable as well. Accordingly, there is no danger of inflammation or the like and, what is more, its structure is simple enough so that it is manufacturable inexpensively.
