PURPOSE: To enable to move a vehicle in a real transversal direction and drive the vehicle without obstruction upon unusing a captioned device by a method wherein a pivoting body attached to a bumper or the like for the chassis may be pivoted by a driving body.

CONSTITUTION: A pivoting body 2 is attached to a bumper 1 or the like on a chassis and is pivoted by a driving body. A first link 17 of the pivoting body 2 is attached to a gear shaft 18 and a second link 19 is attached to the first link 17 through a shaft 20. Pins 21, 21' are provided on the first link 17 and the first link 17 is pinched between these pins, pushing pieces 23 are attached to supporting pieces 24 protruded from the first link 17 together with arms 26 through pins 24 and wires 27 are connected to the arms 26. Transversal movement of the vehicle may be effected by a procedure wherein the first link 17 is pivoted by the driving body through a proper switch in a cockpit, the second link 19 is also pivoted, the pins are protruded properly by operation of the wires 27 and the second link 19 is pivoted alternately several times.
