PURPOSE: To provide a device, which can cut coating protective films at various width corresponding to each vehicle at an appropriate length and which can stick the film to a vehicle on a carrying route automatically.

CONSTITUTION: A coating protective film sticking device 1 is provided with a supplying device 3 for supplying the coating protective film 2 from one side of a carrying route H, a drawing device 4 for drawing the coating protective film 2 of the supplying device 3 to the other side of the carrying route H, a holding device 5 provided over the carrying route H and for holding the coating protective film 2, which is drawn by the drawing device 4, from the over, and a cutting device 6 for cutting the coating protective film 2, which is held by the holding device 5, at a required length position drawn by the drawing device 4. Furthermore, the device is provided with a first moving device 7 for moving the coating protective film 2, which is cut by the cutting device 6, in the carrying direction of the vehicle and for positioning it at an sticking position of a vehicle on the carrying route H and a second moving device 8 for lowering the holding device 5 freely to be elevated so that the coating protective film 2, which is cut by the cutting device 6, is stuck to a vehicle.
