PURPOSE: To automatically and accurately stick a polarizing plate on the sticking position by intermittently driving a rotary table to stick the polarizing plate on a liq. crystal element on a mount and to dismount the element from the mount.
CONSTITUTION: The liq. crystal element W from a liq. crystal element supply mechanism 4 is mounted on the many mounts 2 fixed to the periphery of the polygonal rotary table 3, the element W is cleaned by a cleaning mechanism 7, and then the polarizing plate cut out from a sheet is stuck on the specified position of the element W by the sticking mechanisms 5a and 5b. The element is then dismounted from the mount 2 by a dismounting mechanism 8. Accordingly, the supply of the liq. crystal element and sticking of the polarizing plate are automatically and efficiently carried out by the intermittent driving of the rotary table 3, the polarizing plate is mechanically and accurately stuck on the sticking position, and the quality of the plate can be improved.
