To provide a device for stopping a second hand during the precise time-setting in a watch provided with a tourbillon (1).
The device includes mobile members, such as levers (14, 15, and 16) mounted in a carriage (2) of the tourbillon. Each of the mobile members is returned by a return spring (28, 29, or 30). The mobile members are brought into contact with the periphery of a balance (3) of the tourbillon. When a force is applied to at least one of the mobile members by a shoe (17) arranged outside the carriage (2) and controlled by a time-setting stem (26) of the watch, the balance (3) is stopped. The outer edges (18, 19, and 20) of the levers are disposed above pillars (4) of the carriage (2). As a result, the shoe (17) acts on the levers, without interfering with the pillars.
