Abstract:

To provide a device of stopping a sliding door at an arbitrary position enabling wiring work for driving, receiving or the like to be easy and holding the sliding door over a wide section by simple constitution.

The device of stopping the sliding door at an arbitrary position holds the self-closing type sliding door 4 at an arbitrary opened position in a predetermined section including a fully opened position and releases holding of the sliding door 4 by receiving a signal from the outside in case of emergency such as fire. The device of stopping the sliding door has a held member 20 mounted on the side of the sliding door 4 and a main body 30 of the device mounted on the side of a wall. The held member 20 has an elongated part extending in opening/closing direction of the sliding door 4. The main body 30 of the device holds the elongated part at an arbitrary position in longitudinal direction and releases holding of the elongated part by receiving a signal from the outside in case of emergency.
