Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card storing device in a simple configuration for storing carried-in cards by stacking in the order of carry-in.
SOLUTION: When the card 2 is carried in from a magnetic read and write unit 3, the card placement surface 11 of a card storage part 10 is inclined toward the carry-in direction of the card 2 and also directed slantingly upward. The card 2 carried-in toward the card storage part 10 freely falls from a card put-through passage 4, is abutted onto the card placement surface 11 or another card 2, and then, stored in the card storage part by sliding. When the card 2 is carried-out from the card storage part 10, the card placement surface 11 becomes parallel with the carry-in direction of the card 2. The card 2 is carried-out toward the magnetic read and write unit 3 without bending through the use of a carry-out rotation member 30.
