Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the distribution of the quantity of a molten metal by vibrating a scoop and removing oxide film produced on a molten metal surface at the time of loading up the prescribed quantity of the molten metal with the scoop.
CONSTITUTION: The scoop 3 is dipped into a crucible 2 and the molten metal 1 is ladled up, thereafter, the scoop 3 is tilted by the described angle in advance and the desired quantity of the molten metal 1 is left. Then an excitor 7 is activated to vibrate the scoop 3, and the oxide film produced on the molten metal 1 surface is removed. The quantity of the molten metal 1 is not distributed by the relation with surface tension, and the stable casting with less distribution is obtd.
