Title:
DEVICE FOR SUPPLYING MOLTEN METAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001259820
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a molten metal supplying device in which stable casting work can be repeated without making a three-way valve unturnable even in the case of stopping the casting with a die casting machine.

This molten metal supplying device is provided with a connecting block 7 to which a molten metal carrying conduit tube opened in a plunger sleeve PS in the die casting machine is connected at the other end, a molten feeding and sucking path 8 and a molten metal feeding way 10 arranged in the connected block and communicated with a molten feed-supply cylinder, a three-way valve 11 connecting the metal feeding and sucking path and the molten metal feeding path and a rotary actuator 13 connected with the three-way valve through a rotating shaft and arranged outside a molten metal vessel. The three-way valve is formed in a columnar shape laid on a valve seat formed with the upper end opening par of the molten metal feeding sucking path and the molten metal feeding path, and the rotating shaft is provided, at the lower end, with a projection fitted into a groove arranged at the upper end of the three-way valve and having an energizing means interposed for energizing the rotating shaft always downward at the upper part of this rotating shaft.
