Title:
DEVICE FOR SUPPLYING OZONE INTERMITTENTLY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59193194
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To desorb ozone without using a pump having an excessively large capacity by evacuating and sucking the ozone adsorbed in an adsorption and desorption column by means of an ejector operating on a gas of a relatively high pressure as a driving fluid in the stage of desorption.

CONSTITUTION: An operation for adsorbing ozone is accomplished while a solenoid valve 20 is held closed. When an operation for desorbing the ozone is started upon ending of the desorption operation, the valves 20, 5c are opened and a compressor 18 runs to compress outdoor air 22. An air ejector 17 is driven by such compressed air as a driving fluid, by which the ozone in an adsorption and desorption column 2 is evacuated and sucked. If the compressed air warmed up by the compressor 18 is used as it is, the ozone drawn into the ejector 17 is thermally decomposed and therefore the warmed and compressed air is cooled to about the temp. of the outdoor air by a cooler 19.
