Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the addition of a wire into the suitable position in a molten steel ladle without interfering with an electrode or a lance by utilizing an electrode hole or a lance hole from the working deck.
CONSTITUTION: A wire supplying device 1 in a molten steel treatment equipment for adding the wire of Ca, etc., into the molten steel M in the molten steel ladle 3 is composed of a swing frame 13 arranged so as to be rotatable around a vertical swing shaft 12 axis on the working deck 2, a wire guide pipe lifting mechanism 15 composed of a lifting carriage 24 for lifting by guiding with a supporting guide frame 14 at the tip part of the frame 13 and a movable wire guide pipe 16 fitted to the lifting carriage, etc., and a rotation driving means 18 in the swing frame 13. The movable wire guide pipe 16 can be reciprocatively moved between the place just above the lance hole 5 or the electrode hole 4 in the molten steel ladle 3 and the waiting position except these holes at the lifting position, and the wire W is added into the molten steel M by utilizing the lance hole 5 or the electrode hole 4.
