This device for supporting the action comprises a supporting member 17 to support a part to be supported of the user's body, a moving mechanism to move the supporting member 17 in at least two directions, and a moving mean for the supporting member which is formed correspondingly to the user's moving function to move the supporting member 17 by moving the moving mechanism according to the action pattern showing the change of the position of the supporting member 17. When using it, the user does not need to re-grip the supporting member 17 according to the change of his or her position, when he or she stands up or sit down, since the moving mechanism is operated according to the action pattern and the supporting member 17 is moved.
