To reduce as much of interference and tie-in between devices other than an actuating device such as a power device or auxiliary equipment or between wire ropes as possible in suspending or lifting the actuating device; to compact a suspending and lifting device; and to provide the actuating device with large lifting stroke.
A fluid pressure cylinder 13 is provided inside a leader 5 and a running block 14 is attached to the end of a rod 13b. A stationary block 15 is provided near a through hole 5a in the leader 5. The rear end 16a of a wire rope 16 is connected to the inside of the leader 5 and the wire rope 16 is wound on the underside of the running block 14 and the upper side of the stationary block 15 and extended outside of the leader 5 from the through hole 5a. The front end 16b of the wire rope 16 is connected to the top of an auger brace 8.
