When the power supply device 1 is connected to the power receiving device 11, first natural recognition information stored in the natural recognition information storage circuit 2 of the power supply device 1 is input into the determination circuit 14 of the power supply device 11, via the communication circuit 3 of the power supply device 1 and the communication circuit 12 of the power supply device 11. The determination circuit 14 determines whether the power supply device 1 is proper or not, from the first natural recognition information and the second natural recognition information stored in the natural recognition information storage circuit 13 of the power receiving device 11. When the determination circuit 14 determines that the power supply device 1 is not proper, a power control circuit 15 interrupts the power supplied from the power supply device 1.
