To provide an area arranging device for arranging a usage area within a prescribed region.
The prescribed region is divided into grids so as to manage the areas. A user ID input screen is displayed (S1). An input is received (S2). The shape of the grid desired to be used (a desired shape) and the input of a start time are received (S3). Areas allowing the desired shape are extracted as candidate grids in three continuous time bands from the start time (S4). A combination of candidate grids (first candidate combination) in the first and second time bands is generated, and a combination of candidate grids (second candidate combination) in the second and third time bands is generated (S5). The combination using the same grid around the shift of a time band is defined as the final candidate among combinations (the whole combination) of first and second combinations (S6). The grids indicated by the whole combination with the larger number of same grids in the second and the third time bands are defined as the usage grids among the final candidates (S7). The grids are set in grid usage information (S8), and then, the result is displayed (S9).
