PURPOSE: To provide a device for taking out a cast ingot, in which the number of transferring parts for ingot is made less and the transfer of the ingot can smoothly be executed thereto reduce a fault and trouble, such as flaw, bending of the ingot.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary roll 5 for receiving the ingot is arranged below the lower part and the inside of the primary guide 2 so as not to be interfered with a primary guide. The rotary roll 5 is formed so that plural ingot receiving parts 8 each composed of a receiving surface 8a and an abutting surface 8b formed in a notched shape are provided on the outer peripheral surface thereof in the circular direction, and at the time of stopping the rotation, the receiving surface 8a is formed so as to be almost the same surface level as the surface of the lower part of the primary guide 2 and the abutting surface 8b is formed so as to project from the surface outside in the diameter direction, and the rotary roll can intermittently be rotated with a driving motor. An arcuate secondary guide 15 for transferring and receiving the ingot W received at the position faced to the outer periphery of the rotary roll 5 in the front side of the primary guide 2 with the receiving part 8 during rotating the rotary roll 5, is arranged.
