PURPOSE: To perform a test of a complicated procedure without fail by setting a test procedure before the execution of the test and carrying out the start of a subroutine program and the display of the test name by means of the test executing number and the key operations.

CONSTITUTION: A test executing procedure is added to a test executing number for production of a catalog data table 11 before the execution of a test. At the execution of the test, the test executing key name retrieved out of a display key table 13 based on the test executing number is displayed in a fixed display area of a display device 22 with the operation of a keyboard 21. Thus the test contents can be confirmed. The subroutine entry name retrieved out of a subroutine entry table 12 based on the test executing number is given to a test executing means with depressing of an executing key. Then a test corresponding to an executing key name is carried out. In such a constitution, an operator is not required to set up a test procedure nor to search a test key to be supplied. Thus the test of a complicated procedure is carried out by a simple operation.
