This penetration testing device comprises a frame 1, provided with a hydraulic cylinder 2 for penetrating a cone C into the ground by pressing the rear end of a cone rod C1 of installing the cone C on the tip; an auger screw 3 penetrating in the vertical direction through a horizontal plane part of the frame 1; a motor 4 for making the auger screw 3 of projecting the tip side rotate downward by penetrating through the horizontal plane part, a column 5 for supporting and the motor 4 move vertically, and a stopper 6 arranged in the auger screw 3 and abutting on the upper surface of the horizontal plane part when the auger screw 3 is advanced rotatably into the ground by the motor 4.
