To improve a device to isolate a lock of hair before a product is applied with a clear demarcation at the upper part of the lock of hair before the product is applied, eliminate risk of the product migrating from one lock of hair to another, or enable to be used several times.

A device is provided to isolate at least one lock of hair to which the product is to be applied. The device includes a first sheet 10 and a second sheet 20 each including a first end 11 and 21 and second end 12 and 22 which face with each other, and means of attachment 30 and 31 is integral with the first and/or the second sheet to attach the two sheets together in a reversible manner in proximity to their first ends 11 and 21 over the lock of hair that is isolated. The two sheets 10 and 20 are configured so as to have their second ends 12 and 22 free when they are attached together in proximity to their first ends.
