Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing tissue or the like from an abdominal cavity as desired according to a technique for a minimum surgical removal and a technique for tightly enclosing tissue in a bag. SOLUTION: A flexible bag 18 is inserted into an abdominal cavity 12 through a threaded sleeve 16 mounted into the abdominal wall 10 to remove larger portions of tissue 36 from the abdominal cavity 12. The bag 18 has a side opening 34 through which the tissue can be put into the bag. The end opening of the bag 18 is positioned outside of the threaded sleeve 12. The tissue 36 is liquid tightly enclosed in a part of the bag 18 located in the abdominal cavity 12. The tissue 36 is accessible for cutting up the tissue 36 from outside through the threaded sleeve.
