Abstract:

To provide a pig towing device transferring through a conduit (12) having an opening T-shaped cross section(200).

The pig towing device (10) seals a gap from the conduit (12) and has a front driving cup (14) and a rear driven cup (16) in the conduit (12). When the pig towing device (10) passes through the opening T-shaped cross section (200), the driving cup and the driven cup maintain sealing the gap from the conduit (12). The pig towing device has a flexible body (18) mutually connecting the front driving cup (14) and the rear driven cup (16). The flexible body (18) is urged by a straight posture extended along a center axis in a normal condition and the front driving cup (14) and the rear driven cup (16) are maintained in the condition of leaving a space of a prescribed distance therebetween.
