Abstract:

To improve installation to a vehicle, fuel efficiency and silence by reducing weight of a device for transmitting driving force.

An outer case 10a forming the device for transmitting driving force is formed of aluminum alloy. Hardness is increased by engaging an iron cylindrical stepped ring 11c or a cylindrical ring 11d with a sliding part against a seal member 15 at a support of the device, and wear and damage at the sliding part made of the aluminum alloy are prevented.
