PURPOSE: To enable the loading and unloading of goods to a transport carriage to be easily carried out by turning the transport carriage on rails by a turntable in an arbitrary direction, and by enabling the carriage to be traversed at right angles to traversing guide rails by a traverser.

CONSTITUTION: When the loading and unloading of goods 9 are carried out, after a transport carriage 8 has been traveled on the transport-carriage supporting rails 6 in a traverser 4 on a turntable 2, the turntable 2 is turned by an angle of 90°. Next, the traverser 4 supporting the transport carriage 8 is moved along traversing guide rails 3. Then, the transport carriage 8 is traveled along the transport-carriage supporting rails 6, and after a part of the goods loading/unloading part in the transport carriage 8 has been protruded from the turntable 2, the loading and unloading of goods 9 to the transport carriage 8 is carried out.
