Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a transporting device which is useful as a storing device with a large storage capacity by providing a means for changing the length of a transporting section between a supply area and a delivery area.
CONSTITUTION: Bridging members 9 and 11 for changing length in helical guide paths 2 and 3 between the supply area 22 and the delivery area 23 are provided. A depositing body 8 for the bridging members is fixed to be rotation impossible but vertically movable in an axial direction in a column 7, the depositing bodies are synchronized with the bridging members so as to be rotated in the same direction when the column is rotated by a motor 12 and the length of the transfer section is changed.
