Abstract:
PURPOSE: To downsize a treatment device, reduce an installation space, and simplify transportation and movement of the device by a method wherein excavated matters, such as construction sludge, containing a large amount of water content are agitated and mixed with a solidifying agent in a vertical, cylindrical body to solidify the excavated matters into granules so that earth for back- filling can be easily improved.
CONSTITUTION: An excavated matter feed device 2 is Win the upper section of a vertical, cylindrical body 1. An agitating, mixing device 4 which is rotated by a drive device 3 mounted to the body 1 is located at the lower part of the device 2. Further an outlet port 6 of a soldifying agent pressure feed pipe 5 is connected to an excavated matter feed part 7, to which excavated matters are sent from the device 2, while a lower outlet port 10 of a hopper 9 having an excavated matter crushing device 8 is connected to the upper part of the body 1. The device 2 serves also as an excavated matter metering feed device. Consequently, excavated matters such as construction sludge containing a large amount of water content are agitated and mixed with solidifying agents, thereby to solidify the excavated matters into granules, so that the excavated matters can be easily converted to improved soil for use in back-filling.
