PURPOSE: To improve economic efficiency by labor saving and the utilization efficiency of all earthworms, by mounting the transportation courses of waste matters and earthworms and a discharge device on yielded dung.
CONSTITUTION: Mixed waste matters on a belt conveyor 24 of a waste matter charging device are let fall on a pair of transportation conveyors 25 crossing at a lower portion of the belt conveyor 24 by means of scrapers 29, 30. Earthworms are charged onto the transportation conveyor 25 from an earthworm supply box 31 by using an earthworm charging conveyor 26 mounted to lower positions than the belt conveyor 24 and scrapers 32, 33. Earthworms eat mixed waste matters toward the lower side from the upper side in order during the time when they are carried and discharge dung. Dung on the transportation conveyor 25 is scraped by means of scrapers 34, 36 and let fall on a discharge conveyor 27, and separated by means of gauzes 38, 39. Earthworms are returned to supply box 31 by means of conveyors 28, 47 and reused
