To provide a device for twisting electric wires which can form a stranded electric wire in a relatively stable bunch-strand form from a plurality of relatively short electric wires.
The end portions of a plurality of electric wires are held by an electric-wire holding part 10, with evenly spaced intervals along the circumference of a circle around the established strand line A. The lengthwise middle portion of each electric wire 1 is inserted into an insertion-guide portion 21 of an electric-wire guide part 20 arranged at a location facing the electric-wire holding part 10, and then it is insertion-guided at each of the locations with evenly spaced intervals along the circumference of a circle around the strand line A. When the electric-wire holding part 10 moves away from the electric-wire guide part 20 along the strand line A while rotating around the line A, the respective electric wires 1 are insertion-guided and pulled out one after the other by the respective insertion-guide portions 21, and the pulled-out ranges of the wires are successively twisted together, in the neighborhood of the pulled- out locations, into a bunch strand.
