PURPOSE: To enable the attaching of spats to successively and regularly shifted positions around the hanging rope by twisting the hanging rope in attaching the spats to the hanging rope in an apparatus for attaching the spats of cultured bivalves.
CONSTITUTION: A rotating plate 11 equipped with a guide passage hole 12 through which a hanging rope (A) can be passed in the axial center is rotatably arranged at a position on the side of feeding the hanging rope to a position (a) for performing the operation to attach spats to the hanging rope (A) and a gear 15 is installed in the rotating plate 11. Plural clamp pieces (16a) having rollers capable of holding the hanging rope (A) passing through the guide passage hole 12 only in one direction are additionally installed on the outside surface of the rotating plate 11. The gear 15 is related so as to be driven in the normal and reverse direction with a driving mechanism 17. A clamping mechanism 20 for nipping the hanging rope (A) only in nipping the position for performing the operation to attach spats to the hanging rope (A) and twisting the hanging rope (A) at a suitable place on the delivery side is installed.
