To provide a device for attaching/detaching unit with a simple structure by which a unit to be inserted attachably and detachably into a device body can be attached and detached easily.
An approximately cylindrical boss 26 is formed projecting from the side surface of a unit 14. A cam 38, which is provided with a withdrawal cam 28 and a pushing cam 30 almost opposite to the boss 26, is arranged in a manner to be rotated on a cam shaft 32 as an axis. When the unit 14 is subjected to be fitted, the cam 30 is brought into contact with the front-side surface of the boss 26 and it pushes in the boss 26 together with rotation of the cam 38, thereby holding the unit 14 firmly. When the unit 14 is subjected to be taken out, the cam 30 is released from the boss 26 together with rotation of the cam 38 and the cam 28 is brought into contact with the back-side surface of the boss 26. Then the cam 28 withdraws the boss 26 and a part of the unit 14 is projected from the front of a device body 10.
