Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable unlocking and folding up a backrest by one hand.
CONSTITUTION: In a foldable rear seat having a backrest 1 which folds up onto a seat cushion 2, a recessed portion is formed in the upper portion of the back side of the backrest 1, and a tray-shaped base 15 is mounted on the backrest 1 to cover the recessed portion, and a knob 4 is freely vertically slidably attached to the base 15 and locked to the locking mechanism of the backrest 1.
