Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unwinding device of a steel sheet coil capable presenting the knocking of the steel on the way of unwinding without remarkably increasing the cast thereof.
SOLUTION: A clamper 10 being a self clamp device for expanding a steel sheet which can run back and forth in the longitudinal direction along a groove 9 is installed between right and left table rollers 8, the end part of the unwound steel sheet S is clamped by the clamper 10 to be pulled in the unwinding direction of the steel sheet S. Further, the pulling speed of the steel sheet S determined by the moving speed of the clamper 10 is controlled to about 105% of the unwinding speed of the steel sheet S determined by the rotational speed of a pinch roll 3. More, a guide plate to support the whole width direction of the end part of the steel sheet S from the lower face is installed on the clamper 10.
