PURPOSE: To win efficiently the uranium in sea water and to reduce a running cost by providing partition walls along the flow direction in a discharge channel for sea water in a sea water desalting device or the like, and providing an uranium winning device in each of the channels divided by said walls.
CONSTITUTION: Plural partition walls 5 are provided along the flow direction in a discharge groove 1 for sea water in a sea water desalting device or power generation plant and an adsorption zone 12 and a settling zone 13 are provided in each partition wall 5. Spray pipes 3 for adsorbents are provided on the top surface of each zone 12 to spray slurry-like adsorbents. The adsorbents settled in the zone 13 and the zone 12 are gathered in a sludge gathering machine 9 in a channel 6, and are again sprayed in the zone 12. The adsorbents adsorbed thereon with uranium are carried to a desorption installation, where the adsorbed uranium is desorbed. The uranium is again returned to the channel 1 so as to be reused. A large amt. of uranium is won efficently from the sea water by the above-mentioned mechanism. The easy operation such as repair of the device or the like is made possible.
