To provide a device for washing the localized areas of a human body, which improves the comfortableness of the user during washing by virtue of heating effect, etc., of radiant heat, reduces power consumption during washing without decreasing the amount of washing water, and minimizes the loss of energy during washing, to thereby achieve operation of the device on a drastic energy conservation basis.
When the user operates a remote controller to give instructions to the device for washing, after using a toilet stool, a drive unit is driven to advance a nozzle main body to a washing location together therewith in one body, and a first on-off valve of a valve unit is opened, whereby jetting of washing water is started. At the same time, a halogen heater 66 of a radiant heat generating portion 68 is lit up, and beams are condensed by a condensed beam reflector 67, followed by passing through a radiant heat passage 63. Then, the direction of the beams are further changed by an optical path changing reflector 71, and they are applied from a radiant heat irradiation hole 72 to the localized areas.
