PURPOSE: To automate a series of procedure from winding the sheet like object such as clothes with their ends completed to sewing the suspension ring tug to the end of the sheet like object.

CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with an end detection mechanism 3 detecting the end position of a sheet like object 2 fed to a winding frame 1, end position correcting mechanism 4 which operates based on the end position detection signal sent from the mechanism 3, feeding mechanism 5 which moves the mechanism 4 between an operating position (a) and a relief position (b), and set mechanism 7 operating the mechanism 5 to make the mechanism 4 move from the relief position (b) to the operating position (a) in starting feeding the sheet-like object 2 to the winding frame 1. The movement amount from the waiting position of the sewing machine to the operating position is controlled based on the movement amount of the end position correcting mechanism 4.
