Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spin thermoelectric transducer 10 capable of obtaining high spin Seebeck coefficient SSSE.SOLUTION: A spin thermoelectric transducer 10 includes: a magnetic body 20; and an electrode 30 formed on one surface 21 of this magnetic body 20. In the spin thermoelectric transducer 10, an electromotive force is induced to the electrode 30 by the spin Seebeck effect generated between the magnetic body 20 and the electrode 10 due to temperature gradient generated in the magnetic body 20. The electrode 30 is constituted by an alloy containing Pt and Cu and the electrode 30 is also constituted so that the atomic number density of Pt is within a range of 50 at% or more and 70 at% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
