PURPOSE: To realize the processing of two types, that is, a rolling type and a cutting type by means of one knurling device and improve workability by making the labor of change and position regulation or the like unnecessary and in addition realize working that covers the step difference root of a stepped component whose working has been difficult so far and moreover realize the working of a component for which lubrication oil can not be used.

CONSTITUTION: This device possesses a retaining member 2 into which a roller bearing is put under pressure and fixed; a knurling tool 1 turnably supported on and engaged with the roller bearing by means of a fixing pin 6 or the like on the side surface of the retaining member 2; and a support member 3 to be furnished and fixed at a machine device to be used. The device is also equipped with a support pin 4 to turnably engage the retaining member 2 with the support member 3 and a fixing bolt 9 to determine a fitting angle.
