Abstract:
To provide a dewatering machine capable of dewatering upon widening the bottom of a standing pouch transported in the sideways tumbled condition, as in the conventional arrangement, if the object to be dewatered is a standing pouch, and free of the risk of crushing the solids as the contents by hold-down rollers whether or not the vessel which is the object dewatered is a standing pouch.
A hold-down unit 14 is configured so that a plurality of hold-down rollers 16 are borne by respective bearing members 18 which are installed overhung through a leaf spring 19 in order to make possible to swing the rollers 16 up and down individually.
